Listen to the acoustics of Geghard.
An Acoustic Digital Twin combines a 3D model, acoustic measurements and simulation to recreate how a space sounds. This comparison explores the voice of Arus Nazaryan in the acoustics of Geghard.
- 1 · DRY
- The original studio recording, without the acoustics of Geghard.
- 2 · Acoustic Digital Twin
- The same studio performance rendered through the virtual space.
- 3 · Real
- A separate performance recorded in Geghard, approximately aligned in time.

About this comparison
All three recordings share one playback clock with a 25 ms transition when switching. Real has been adjusted in time to approximately follow DRY. Acoustic Digital Twin uses the original DRY timing.
Integrated loudness is matched to Real using fixed playback gains: DRY +6.7 dB; Acoustic Digital Twin +24.0 dB; Real unchanged. No compression or limiting is applied. Short passages may still differ in perceived loudness.
The Acoustic Digital Twin track uses a fixed stereo rendering prepared from the four-channel AmbiX FOA recording with virtual cardioid microphones at ±45°, assuming ACN/SN3D channel order W, Y, Z, X. It does not use binaural HRTF processing or head tracking. The Acoustic Digital Twin image is a conceptual illustration, not a measured reconstruction of Geghard.
